An investment agreement has been signed between Seed Investments, SEEDinfra and other investors for formation of SPV to invest into 10 MW Langtang Khola (scalable to 20 MW) Hydropower project in Rasuwa district. The SPV, to be named as SEEDenergy, is looking to invest 15% of equity requirement for the project. The project’s financial closure for 10 MW has been signed with a consortium of banks led by Sunrise Bank.

The company has also received approval for SEIA for 20 MW. Land procurement for the project has begun and detail design works is in progress. A Run-of- River Project with planned capacity of 20.0 MW is in Syaphrubesi VDC, Rasuwa District. The projected energy generation is –

• Wet Energy- 101.37 GWh
• Dry Energy- 17.44 GWh
• Total Energy- 118.81 GWh

The Base Cost of the Project is NRs 3,122,190,000 (with IDC) with 75:25 Debt-Equity ratio. The projected IRR for the project is 16.8%.
